Rally to save Cumbria’s forests
By JohnnyChatterton
The campaign to save our forests is getting bigger every day. Over 229,000 of us have now signed the petition!
Across the country local groups are working hard to keep the pressure up to save our forests with local events. In Cumbria this weekend, a rally organised by our friends, ‘Save Lakeland’s Forests‘ is being held in Grizedale Forest to keep the momentum building. It would be great if you can attend so we can show how many people want the government to stop the sell-off.
The rally starts at 1pm on Sunday 30th of January and will take place next to the main car park near Hawkshead. If you would like more details please email contact@savelakelandsforests.org.uk
Our friends at Save Lakeland’s Forests are also looking for volunteers who can help with their campaign, if you would like to get involved please email the campaign on contact@savelakelandsforests.org.uk. They’d love any help that you can give.
