95% of the public don’t know how to get involved with the NHS “listening” exercise

With only two weeks to go before the end of Andrew Lansley’s “listening” exercise 38 Degrees members have chipped in to fund a YouGov poll which has found that:
- 95% of the British public do not know how to get involved with the government’s NHS ‘listening exercise’.
- Only 1 in 5 believes that health secretary Andrew Lansley wants to listen.
These figures don’t come as a surprise. The government’s ‘listening exercise’ is not listening to the public at all. 38 Degrees members across the country are reporting that the consultation events are impossible to find, let alone to get involved with.
