Finchely and Golders Green members fight to protect our NHS
By Cara Bevington
If you were out and about in East Finchley or Golders Green last weekend it would have been hard to miss the three groups of 38 Degrees members collecting petition signatures to save our NHS.
More than 50 members took to the streets to talk to people in their area about why it’s critical we make protecting the NHS a priority for all candidates standing in this years’ general election.
Together, 38 Degrees members in Finchley and Golders Green, collected more than 800 petition signatures. That’s more than 800 conversations with local residents about stopping the privatisation of the NHS. About ensuring the NHS has the funding it needs to provide high quality healthcare to everyone. And about keeping the NHS out of TTIP. You can add your support to the petition here.
Members are already planning future stalls and activities to collect even more signatures on the ‘Save our NHS’ petition. If you want to be a part of this movement join the 38 Degrees election hub and get involved in your local area.
