Showing love for our NHS in Ealing
By Cara Bevington
Over the weekend 38 Degrees members were out and about in Ealing Broadway building support for the ‘Save our NHS’ petition.
Wearing ‘I heart NHS’ t-shirts and with clipboards in hand, local 38 Degrees members spoke to hundreds of people about they we are calling on all candidates to protect the NHS from privatisation, funding cuts and the TTIP trade deal if elected.
In just 2 hours this fantastic group of members collected close to 300 signatures – incredible work!
One of the members campaigning in Ealing was local student Sara. She was there because she’s passionate about ensuring politicians invest in building a healthy community and country. Sara hopes one day to work for the NHS as a dietician.
