Campaigning on the NHS this year

This will be the biggest year yet for our campaign to protect the NHS. Together, 38 Degrees members are going to take on the private companies taking chunks out of our NHS. And build a movement that will make David Cameron and Jeremy Hunt quake in their boots.

We’re going to make sure the people trying to dismantle the NHS – that we know and love – won’t know what’s hit them. But to do that, we need to focus our efforts together.

So where should we start? Should we run a hundred local campaigns together and win fights up and down the country? Should we investigate the private companies buying up parts of our NHS to expose their dodgy dealings? Or something else completely?

The NHS has always stood up for us. It’s been there in some of the saddest, scariest and happiest moments of our lives. Now it’s time to stand up for it in return. If we come together right from the start of 2016, we’ll be a powerful force to be reckoned with.
