NHS Backlog Posters FAQs

By Michael

When will I get my poster?

Posters will be processed and sent out in batches as soon as possible. This may take a few weeks, but it may take longer depending on the number of orders. Please be patient but, if you haven’t received your poster after a few weeks, please contact us at nhsbacklgposters@38degrees.org.uk to find out the status of your order.

Are the posters free?

Yes, the posters are free because we want everyone to be able to take part in showing support for the NHS! However, if you’re able to do so, it would be great if you could chip in to help pay for posters for people who can’t afford to. Each poster costs us around £1 to buy and post, you can make a secure donation here.

Can you tell me a bit more about this campaign?

More than 6 million patients are stuck on the NHS waiting list in England alone. And the Government even admits that under their current plan the backlog would increase for years to come. It’s not good enough. That’s why we’re stepping up our campaign to tackle this crucial issue – and a huge poster campaign with personalised data that shows the scale of the problem in each constituency will help get this issue at the top of the Government’s agenda.

Why are posters only available for England?

The NHS is a devolved issue and these posters are only applicable to England.

I want to order another poster for a friend, family member or a community centre, how can I do this?

You can use this form to order another poster – here. Please remember that posters will be customised by constituency name using the postcode you enter – and posters are available for England only.

I haven’t received my poster yet, where is it?

If your poster hasn’t arrived after a couple of weeks, please send an email to the 38 Degrees team at nhsbacklgposters@38degrees.org.uk

We’d love to see your posters on display! Please share photos with us: nhsposters@38degrees.org.uk (and if you do this, we might share your photo on social media, unless you ask us not to) or Tweet @38degrees using the hashtag #WhyAreWeWaiting
