March campaign wins

By 38 Degrees team

March flew by for us at 38 Degrees. We pulled off so much that we are very excited to share! All of this is made possible thanks to our brilliant supporters and every single action you take.

Here’s just a glimpse of our voices all over the papers recently:

Elon Musk projection

We lit up London’s most iconic landmarks – from Parliament to Tower Bridge – with a message that Elon Musk and Parliament can’t ignore: our democracy is not for sale. Thanks to 4,148 people chipping in to make it happen, we sent our message loud and clear to the richest person in the world, and got it splashed across the media.

NHS campaigning

Stephen Kinnock, the Minister responsible for dentistry, also personally responded after our huge dental petition hand-in. This is a BIG step forward in our fight to get everyone the dental treatment they need.

Meanwhile our NHS consultation received very positive feedback, with the team running it reaching out to us personally. This shows they’re really listening to the 38 Degrees community.

Our polling on the NHS and the risks of a US trade deal was a headline in The Mirror, just in time for Keir Starmer’s crucial meeting with Trump.

Ofgem

88,000 people signed a petition and 20,000 completed surveys to demand changes in a major review of Ofgem – the body meant to regulate energy providers. We compiled all of our voices into a powerful report and sent it straight to the Government, pushing for an energy market that truly serves the people.

Food labels

What’s more, over 17,000 of us spoke out against misleading food labels in supermarkets, and our voices created a powerful report delivered directly to Ministers.

Trump state visit

Our petition against Trump’s state visit made a splash on the LBC and across the papers – and our polling on this even got a mention on Good Morning Britain!

Bin collections

And last but certainly not least, after local residents in Bristol united through a petition on the 38 Degrees website, the council dropped controversial plans for monthly bin collections.

This is proof of the real impact we’ve made together when we take small actions. From making headlines, sparking conversations in the media, creating people-powered reports, to directly engaging with politicians, it’s all driven by the passion and actions of people like you.
