Refugees Welcome Posters 2025: Frequently Asked Questions
By 38 Degrees team
What does the poster look like?
Here are the designs, and supporters will have chosen the version with the flag they would personally like included:

When will I get my poster?
We’re aiming to get these posters printed and sent as soon as possible to show solidarity. The first batch will hopefully be with people by September 15th. But please be aware, they will be sent second class post and as ever some delays may happen!
If you haven’t received your posters by the 30th of September please contact us at emailtheteam@38degrees.org.uk to request a replacement.
Please note posters will not be shipped outside of the UK.
Are the posters free?
Yes, the posters are free because we want everyone to be able to take part – the more of us who put up these posters in our homes, the more we’ll be able to spread our message of welcome and solidarity up and down the country! But if you’re able to donate, it would be great if you could chip in to help pay for posters for people who can’t afford to. Each poster costs us around £2 to make and post – but the more you chip in, the more you’ll help power our campaigns to push for a fairer, less divided country.
You can make a secure donation here: https://act.38degrees.org.uk/act/refugee-poster-donate
Are the posters eco-friendly?
The posters can be recycled domestically.
I want to order another poster of cards for a friend, family member or a community centre, how can I do this?
You can use this form to order another poster – here. But if you order more than one please do consider chipping in to cover the cost of getting multiples sent out if you haven’t yet donated.
I’d like to share a photo of my poster!
We’d love to see your poster on display! We’ll be sharing photos on social media and with the press to help change the recent narrative. Please send them to us at emailtheteam@38degrees.org.uk. If you would rather we didn’t use your photo on social media or in the press please let us know in the email.
How big is the poster?
The poster is A3 sized.
Can you tell us more about this campaign?
Imagine you’re an asylum seeker, recently arrived, or a refugee who’s been settled in the UK for a while now. Over the last few weeks and months you’ve seen these protests on the rise, maybe you’re currently in a hotel that’s had crowds of people hanging around outside, maybe you’ve seen racist graffiti telling people to “go home”. All of this would leave you feeling scared and worried any time you go outside.
Now imagine walking down the street on the way back from the shops and instead you see new signs popping up in your neighbours windows. Signs that say you are welcome here. It’s a small act of kindness and solidarity, but it could make such a huge difference to people living their life in fear and uncertainty right now.
That’s why members of the 38 Degrees community are putting these posters up in their window. Click on the link to get yours today:
