Our team working to change Britain for the better
Introduction from our CEO, Matthew McGregor
Just like our supporters, the 38 Degrees team gathers together people from all walks of life.
Cinema manager. Author. Bartender. MP. Plumber. Camerawoman. Our backgrounds are as unique as we are.
We live on Skye and on the South Coast, in Cardiff and in London, throughout villages, towns, and cities, from Yorkshire to Dorset. Even a farm in rural Herefordshire. We speak Welsh, Thai, Xhosa, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese.
We enjoy spending time with our families, our pets, and our friends. We’re into long walks, long runs, paddleboarding, jacket potatoes, sewing, chess, gardening, computer games, you name it!
And we each have particular causes that matter most to us – democracy, the cost of living, the environment, women’s rights, men’s health, and childcare. Our NHS, our schools, our libraries. Because we all have a real stake in making the UK the very best it can be.
We might not agree on the best football team (it’s Norwich city, though) or the worthiest winner of Traitors (Rachel), but there’s one thing we definitely all have in common: a drive to make people-powered change. Together, we work towards creating a fairer, greener, kinder country for everyone.
I am proud to lead this team – but ultimately, I and all of the team, work for our community of supporters who make everything 38 Degrees does possible.
Below you can find out a bit more about our different teams, and the range of skills that we bring to the table.
