Campaigns by you: Save Good Hope local services

On Friday, 38 Degrees member, Krystyna travelled from Sutton Coldfield to hand in her petition at 10 Downing Street. She, and other Save Good Hope local services campaigners, say local people haven’t been given a say in changes to their local hospital.

Krystyna had collected enough paper signatures to bring her Campaigns by You petition up to the 2000 mark, and get her an appointment to hand it in at Number 10. Here she is at Downing Street:

After they handed in the petition, they were interviewed by a journalist – giving the campaign it’s TV debut on BBC Midlands. They also later found out that the public meeting they have been campaigning for has been agreed to – finally! Krystana isn’t resting on her laurels though – she is now aiming to make sure the public are listened to and consulted at the meeting. And that a fair decision is made!
