Tax Credit Advice

By Megan Bentall

Will my tax credits be cut?

The government hasn’t yet sent out the letters confirming which families will have their tax credits cut, or by how much.

If you expect that you might be affected by tax credit cuts, you can make sure you’re prepared by getting some advice on how to cope with the cuts.

Here are some websites with help and advice:

Here are some links to charities that can give you advice on money, benefits and debt:

Your MP should also be able to take up your case to help you. You can find your MP’s phone number and email address by typing in your postcode here:

You can find out more about what 38 Degrees members have done so far in the campaign to protect vital tax credits here.

You can sign the petition to MPs against the cuts here and the petition to the House of Lords against the cuts here.
