CAMPAIGN UPDATE: Fracking in Neath Port Talbot

A huge thank you to all of you who have supported the campaign to declare Neath Port Talbot a frack free zone! The petition has gathered over a thousand signatures and a motion to oppose fracking in all forms in Neath Port Talbot has been put forward to be debated at council.

The motion was originally scheduled to be voted on on Wednesday, 17th February. Unfortunately, this date has had to be postponed due to the personal circumstances of the councillor who submitted the motion.

Your emails to local councillors to encourage them to vote for the motion won’t go to waste – not to worry! We’ll update the campaign once the new date for debating the motion has been agreed. In the meantime, keep spreading the word about the campaign! Together, we can convince the council to stand up for its communities in the face of dirty energy companies.
