Save Petersfield Post Office
By Nicole G
Petersfield’s Post Office is under threat. If plans to close it go ahead, it could disappear forever. Claire lives nearby and thinks this could force people to travel miles to another Post Office, leaving the high street empty. So she’s started a 38 Degrees petition for Petersfield’s Post Office to stay put.
The Post Office announced the plans only a few weeks ago. Your MP, Damian Hinds, has met with Post Office officials to discuss the closure. If enough of us sign Claire’s petition right now, the public outcry – combined with the pressure from your MP – could be enough to convince The Post Office to scrap their plans completely.
Almost 1,000 people have already signed Claire’s petition. Will you add your name too? It only takes 30 seconds:
Post offices are more than just places where we send parcels. They’re somewhere you can collect your pension, pay bills, and send birthday presents – all face to face. For lots of us, they are at the heart of where we live.
If enough of us get behind Claire’s petition today, we could make sure Petersfield’s Post Office stays where it belongs.
