Bermondsey and Old Southwark: inspiring local support to save our NHS

38 Degrees members from Bermondsey and Old Southwark were campaigning together at the base of one of London’s most famous buildings, The Shard, on Saturday 28 February.

They spoke to hundreds of  local residents and visitors alike about the importance of protecting our NHS from privatisation, making sure it has the funding it needs and keeping it out of TTIP.

Despite the cold, grey weather this wonderful group collected more than 1,000 signatures to add to the ‘Save our NHS’ petition. The petition calls on all candidates standing in the upcoming general election to commit to do all they can to protect our precious NHS. Read more about the campaign and add your support here.
