Here’s where 38 Degrees members are submitting FOIs

The state of our local parks can make or break our neighbourhoods. In a decent park, people of all generations and walks of life mix together. But right now, parks across the country are at risk.

Councils are slashing spending on parks. And when a park gets run down, vandalised, covered in dog mess and litter – or even worse, sold off – it casts a depressing shadow over the whole area. Wonderful local spaces become no-go areas.

To find out just what councils’ have in store for our parks, 38 Degrees members across England have signed-up to submit Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs). These FOIs will help get the truth out and safeguard the future of our local parks.
